Rattray Community Garden update June 2023
Date: 30 June 2023
Rattray Community Garden - a lot of work has taken place at the Rattray Community Garden in recent months. Water and electricity have been installed. Paths have been laid and planning permission is in to convert an outbuilding into a storage/kitchen/toilet area. It is now time for the groups within the Community to become involved . If anyone is interested in having a look round the garden please contact me and a visit can be arranged. You may consider a small allotment plot to grow fruit or veg for a community group or perhaps a school group would like an area to educate little ones on how food is grown that is good enough to eat! Please don't hesitate to come along and have a look if you think this would be of interest to you.Rattray Community Garden Paths

Rattray Community GardenMount Ericht Funding Secured
Date: 17 September 2020
Such great news that BRDT has secured the funding. This is the first step on the road to securing Mount Ericht for Bloom to develop a Community Garden. A great deal of work went into this application - 99% of it was done ‘virtually’ - and a massive “Thank you” is due to Lorna McCurrach and Alison Powrie of BRDT for all they did. A real team spirit was shown, despite the challenging circumstances.
